WHO WE ARE
Our doctrine is reformed: a reference to the Bible doctrines recovered at the time of the Reformation: Scripture Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Christ Alone, and For God's Glory Alone.
The government of our church is Presbyterian. This means that each congregation elects qualified men as their Elders & minister to pastor them as was the case in the churches of the New Testament. These elders then group together in local church courts called Presbyteries. We also have a church-wide General Assembly.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and is without error. It is infallible in all matters of faith and practice.
We hold as the confession of our faith the Westminster Confession of Faith, along with the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. We believe that the system of doctrine clearly presented in these statements is faithful to the Word of God.
HOW WE WORSHIP
As forms of worship for the church of the New Testament, God has appointed prayer, reading of the Scriptures, preaching the Word, singing of Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and the Lord’s Day. We believe that these few and simple ordinances given in Scripture are sufficient to bring about the advance of the gospel and the building up of His Church.
